Hemorrhoids Links and Resources
Millions of people around the world suffer from hemroids every day. Some experience short bouts of hemroids, such as while pregnant or badly constipated. Others, sadly, experience their hemroid symptoms year in and year out. Grimmacing as the pain and bleeding just worsen with each passing year.
Hemorrhoids have been around for a long, long time. Hemroids are not just an affliction of a modern life style, as some have argued, though lifestyle has been found to be one of the major causes of hemroids. Real photos pictures of hemroids are now here. Apart from pregnancy related hemroids, very rarely will hemroids get better on their own. The normal course is for hemroids to just get worse. Hemroids normally just get worse if left untreated The reason for hemroids mostly worsening over time, is due to the causes that are involved. In ignorance some people don't realise that lifting the wrong way, suffering constipation, or even uncontrolled high blood pressure can bring on hemroids. Of course, if the cause isn't treated, the hemroids will just get more agonising and harder to deal with. The hemroids will get bigger, more swollen, bleed more, hang out more and you'll be more likely to get an extremely painful blood clot in them requiring surgical cutting. Why? What are hemroids? A hemroid is a weakened blood vessel that has bulged out. It's lost it's elasticity to shrink back to normal size. So the more strain or pressure that the vein has to suffer, the more the hemroid inflates with blood. The more it swells, the more the adverse symptoms are likely to be, and the harder it is for them to self repair. Hemroid Symptoms The hemroid symptoms that one typically experiences are many, but the main ones are pain, bleeding, a feeling of incomplete stool evacuation, and the appearance of lumps where there shouldn't be any. Diagnosis Hemroids For a trained physician, the diagnosis of hemroids is pretty straight forward and easy, even if they are inside of you. However, if any bleeding is present, your doctor will most likely play it safe and request that you have some invasive testing done. The testing is to rule out a number of conditions, especially cancer. Once the diagnosis of hemroids is made, the next phase is treatment. Hemroids Treated Yes, hemroids can be treated, and for most people they can be gotten rid of - forever. For the immediate problem of hemroid pain and discomfort you can use common pain killers and sitz baths for relief. The longer term treatment and prevention starts with diet. Please make sure that you include enough fiber and water to keep your stools soft. Soft stools help prevent constipation that can cause and worsen hemroids and soft stools wont scratch hemroids - which is mostly what causes hemroids to bleed. There are also medical and surgical treatments for hemorids. The medical tend to be short lived, like pain killing injections, while hemroid surgical procedures often require risks to be taken, along with much discomfort in the short term, and then, you may still get the hemroids back. There are also alternative treatments for hemroids available, as well as the online hemroids treatments that we have reviewed. The better ones work to heal the weakened areas and stop the pain and discomfort quickly. Below is one such alternative treatments for hemroids:
