TREATMENT to HEAL HEMORRHOIDS
PILLS, CREAMS, SUPPOSITORIES OR LOTIONS: see the photos, read testimonials and look at what we have to say about Venapro and other great products we compare and analyze.

Which hemorrhoid treatment to use? For external hemorrhoids I suggest NeoHealar or Heal Hemorrhoids, as both are quite cost effective and both passed our hemorrhoid treatment proofing, and being topical applications are well suited for use on external hemorrhoids. For internal hemorrhoids, or if you just know you have hemorrhoids, but aren’t sure about their type, then Venapro has passed our proofing test with flying colors.

A Hemorrhoids Question from C…

Hello My name is C… I am 43 and in November of 2007 I had hemorroid surgery and it was absolutely awful.  I waited many years to finally make the decision to have the surgery and I just couldn’t take the pain any further.  I went to my doctor who recommended a surgeon.  He said that I did have hemorroids and that I would need surgery.  He said it would be VERY painful and would take upto 2 weeks before I would feel any better. I decided that the surgery would be better than the pain I was dealing with on a daily basis.

I finally decided to go through with the surgery.  He was absolutely correct, the pain was horrible.  But it might have taken me a little longer than 2 weeks before I started feeling any better.  It was the absolute worst thing I ever did. My father-in-law had said that then would come back.  I told him that if they did they would stay because I would never go through that kind of pain again.

After a few months past I started to be my old self again and then was happy that I made the decision. But not even one year from the date of the surgery and guess what, I have another hemorroid.  Is it possible the surgeon did something wrong? There has to be something I can do about this, I feel like I went through so much pain and here I am back at square one.  I have extreme pain when I use the bathroom, bleeding, swelling.  Every bathroom visit (which is at least once a day maybe twice) this bleeding happens when I go. Feels like I am ripping.  I also feel a lump outside my anus.  I have no doubt that this is another hemorroid, but could it be something else?

Is it normal to have had surgery and then a year later have hemorroids back again?

Please help,

C… (Name withheld from publishing)

Hi C…

Hemorrhoids are mainly a life style thing, so if you don’t idenitfy the cause and stop the cause, then, yes, no matter what you do, they are likely to return.
Is this a current episode hemorrhoids, can’t be sure, you could use a mirror to find out if it is the same thing again, but getting a doctor to rule out the nasties is the best idea.
Kind regards,
Donald.

Another Recent Hemorrhoids Question

I have what i believe to be a hemeroid.  I am a female and mother of 2 36 years old.  I have never had one before so im not sure what to do i have tried every thing i can buy over the counter and countless home remeddies and herbs….i have had this for about close to 2 months now some days are better than others i can push it back inside but keeps coming out when i use the bathroom… it feels like the ball one in the center  is hard and has no feeling to it its definatly different than the area around it in texture… I have included a couple pictures for you to look at 1 and 2 were taken about a month ago and show a yellow spot on the center hard knot this has since gone away but is still hard…the doctor said it was probally a hemeroid. Can you tell me what this is what kind of hemeroid this is and what the hell i can do to get it to go away i have alread y been drinking lots of water cut back the coffee and sugar and nuts and am using anusol, taking magnesium and fiber… and money for an expensive operation is tight.

This picture photo looks like this lady is sufferring from both internal and external hemorrhoids.

Our Hemorrhoids Answer

Hi,

They do indeed look like internal hemorrhoids, that prolapse out, grade 3 definitely, but sounds like a grade 4 – “Grade 3 hemroids pop out when straining, tend to bleed more and have to be gently pushed back in. Grade 4 hemroids are showing all the time and bleed much more.

So, if your doctor starts to talking about your hemroids as a specific grade, you’ll have an idea of what he is on about, as well as the hemroid symptoms he used to make the grading.”

In other words the hemorrhoids have likely evolved beyond the point where a simple hemorrhoid surgery would work, which in turn means you would be looking at a hemorrhoidectomy most likely.

However, although they look and act like hemorrhoids, it would be good if you could get your doctor to have a look and confirm what is going on.  It alarms me that the doctor “said it was probably a hemroid”.  The doctor should know and be quite definite, if they don’t know for sure they are suppose to check it out further and make sure.

Also, I’m not happy with the color.  Assuming they are internal hemorrhoids that have prolapsed out, the area that is hard and deep reddish appears to be a bit strangulated – the blood isn’t flowing freely through it, which is why it is hard I believe.

On another note, it’s possible you may have external hemorrhoids and maybe a harmless skin flap – as well as the prolapsed hemorrhoid.  The center one appears to poke through as best as I can tell, but the other ones appear to be on the rim.

A doctor should be able to diagnose properly, and that should be your first step.  A proper medical diagnosis.

I’m surprised it’s not painful or bleeding, but you may just be looking after it well.  Keeping the area covered in anusol would certainly help.  I dare say it’s uncomfortable because it is a largish mass that is sitting between the cheeks – akin to getting sand between them at the beach.

So, what to do.  PROPER MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS and if it confirms hemorrhoids, which I think it will, you will definitely need to look at the causes as stated on my web site, so that you can do what you can to prevent them and stop them from worsening.  Straining and constipation are one of the biggest causes of hemorrhoids like this.

Make sure the fiber and water, and exercise is in place and that your doctor agrees with such for you personally.

Realize that if you act without proper medical opinion, it’s at your own risk completely as to whether the condition is in fact hemorrhoids and that the hemorrhoids treatments are suitable.

I would suggest that you consider Venapro for this hemorrhoid situation, as it works on some of the causes, such as constipation.  Topical applications run into problems with internal hemorrhoids, because they are designed to work on external hemorrhoids, which require a much higher level of active ingredients, which poses some safety risk for use on internal hemorrhoids, as even when they are prolapsed they are still mucous membrane tissue which readily absorbs stuff.  Ever wondered about how paracetamol – aka Panadol – suppositories work, well know you know, it’s ‘digested’ via the mucous membrane – stick the same suppository on normal skin and it will basically sit there till it falls off.

Also, I suggested the six month supply, as it is the length of time that it takes it’s active ingredients to likely effect a cure – anything less is basically symptom relief.  Venapro is suppose to work by healing the blood veins from the insides, so it’s excellent for internal hemorrhoids.

You can read and compare these two and other alternative hemorrhoids treatments, by clicking on this link.

I gather money is tight and no health insurance?  If that’s the case, I definitely want you to stay in contact with me and let me know how the treatment you choose progresses.

Finally, in the worst case scenario, the hemorrhoids may get worse, this is one reason to consider proper medical diagnosis and opinion as to the best treatment.  If they say banding is still a good prospect, do you really want to risk ending up with having to have the dreaded hemorrhoidectomy?

Anyway, I’m actually quite unwell at the moment my self with a nasty cold that wont respond to all the home remedies that normally work on colds 🙁   So, I’m going to get some more rest now.

Please let me know your thoughts.

If you need anything clarified further, please let me know.

Kind regards,

Donald.

One of the recent hemroids hemorrhoids questions:

Says on the box of my hemoroid cream not to use especially if your on an antidepressant. How would it affect me?

Our Answers to this hemroids hemorrhoids question:

Hi,

I assume you are on antidepressants? If that is the case you would have to discuss with a doctor before using the hemorrhoids cream.

Obviously there is some drug interaction that can happen. Exactly what I don’t know. But the cream is partly absorbed into the body and into the blood stream.

Some drug interactions can kill, so do see your doctor before using the hemorrhoids cream, as there may be a safer cream you can use with antidepressants, or there may be specific tests that have to be done, or a different hemorrhoid treatment may need to be considered, or even a change in the antidepressant medication could be considered.

All the best
Donald.

Is this anal swelling a hemorrhoid / hemroid?

Hemroids Hemorrhoids Answer:

Hi,

This hemroid website has indeed helped a lot of people, and thank you for your kind comments.

First, for the most part, only a doctor can diagnose hemroids, and it needs to be done in person.

I see what may be a tiny hemroid on the right hand side, but the much bigger area seems to be a swelling, rather than an actual hemroid.

As it comes and goes and appears puffy, it may be caused by excessive hard wiping, which can cause piles in itself, but now might be a good time to see a doctor for proper diagnosis of both lumps.

Cases of mild piles can come and go, lasting two or three days at a time. This may be a picture of piles, but I suspect not.

Kind regards,
Donald.

Our Answers on the above Hemroids Hemorrhoids Question

Hi,

Overtime the situation with hemorrhoids will more than likely get worse, which is why doctors have to grade hemorrhoids before deciding on the best treatment, which is probably not what you want to hear, and the worse the hemorrhoids get the more expensive medical intervention for the hemorrhoid/s becomes.

Please read the causes of hemroids and do what you can thereby to prevent them from worsening and prevent more developing, also some ideas on other pages to help get rid of the hemorrhoids.

Commercially available online hemroids treatments – pills, creams, lotions – are available that can assist your body to heal and to get rid of hemroids, as well as provide immediate relief from their painful symptoms.

Keep the stools soft with diet and water et etc.

Also, self diagnosis of hemorrhoids may be wrong. For example, an anal fissure can generate much pain and may be slightly swollen if it’s infected, a boil is another possibility.

Hope this makes sense, but a few dollars on a doctor for a proper diagnosis and advice may be a very good idea while it’s a small problem and hopefully not too costly to treat, what ever it is.

Please let me know how you get on.

Kind regards,

Donald.

Your Question and Answers on Hemroids Hemorrhoids

My husband had hemorrhoids several years ago (about 15 years ago) and went to chiropractor north of … The doctor is not longer alive. The hemorrhoid procedure that he used was an electrical probe (a little brass plug with a wire that went down to a foot pedal, the doctor then pressed the foot pedal for 2-3 seconds, the feeling was like a pulsating sensation). We made 3 visits for the hemorrhoid procedure, the last 2 & 3 visits were longer treatment than the first. Do you know of anyone that does this hemorrhoid procedure? Thank you.

Our Answers on Hemroids Hemorrhoids

Hi,

I have limited knowledge of your local services.

What you seem to be describing may be a cauterization treatment for hemorrhoids which some doctors still use, but I cannot say I have ever heard of that specific piece of equipment used in a hemorrhoid procedure before. Also, the doctor / chiropractor that took over his practice on his death may still use the hemorrhoid equipment – Have you tried contacting the surgery? Or finding out who took over his medical records – as they may now who took on the equipment – even if the particular piece of hemorrhoid equipment was worn out by now, if the doctor / chiropractor using it liked it, may have found a replacement for it one would suspect. Also, accessing your old medical records may give you the name of the specific hemorrhoid procedure, which would then allow you to phone round or ask others more specifically and easily.

Alternatively, would the AHA or your chiropractic association respond to an enquiry? Could be the easy way for you to get the hemorrhoid treatment you specifically are asking for.

Hope that helps,

Kind regards,

Donald.

Your Question and Answers on Hemroids Hemorrhoids

I have a question about hemroids. I have been taking stool softer but it hasn’t done me any good. My stool still hard and I think my hemroids are getting worse. I went 3 days without pooping and they were getting better. Now I can feel that i need to use the bathroon… How can I make sure it comes out soft or watery? I’ve been holding bc it hurts too much. Also, What can I do so this won’t happen again ? Stool softer doesn’t seem to be working. Thanks so much

Our Answers on Hemroids Hemorrhoids

Hi,

Well, I would suggest talking to your chemist and obtaining a suitable suppository before you have to go do a stool motion, otherwise you may well cause yourself a lot of pain and suffering. The longer the stool is left inside, the more likely it will become hard and big, which risks scratching a hemorrhoid on the way through causing pain and blood – the stool could also scratch the anal opening causing an anal fissure, which can be much worse pain wise than a hemorrhoid. Hard stools are bad news for hemorrhoids, straining is also very bad news for hemorrhoids as it can cause more to develop as well as worsen existing hemorrhoids. In terms of the stool softeners you are taking, be warned that many may damage the bowel permanently and need to be used sparingly if at all. Certainly safer stool softeners are available, so if you have to use one, use a safe one. Even in the 1800’s Sienna was known for it’s ability to soften the stool, as well as do much harm to the bowel! To prevent this from happening again drink sufficient water and consume sufficient fibre – but not excessively. If this doesn’t work, doctors suggest using Metamucil. If you go through our web site here, you will learn much about controlling hemorrhoids, possibly even curing them.

Hope that helps,

Kind regards,

Donald.
